Introduction

My name is Lindsay, and I like to write about music.

I'm an administrative assistant with higher degrees in music, writing, and musicology, with aspirations to be a musicologist. And since I went on hiatus from academia, I've found it difficult to keep up with scholarly topics the way I used to. It's harder to find venues for meaningful music discussions outside the classroom.

So, naturally, I thought starting a blog would be a good way to get back into the swing of things.

Thesis + Anacrusis is blog about music, music history, musicology, music criticism, and any other music topic that interests me.
